Dear Betsy001,
Gee that was nice of your GP - NOT! AS if you haven’t had enough worry - what is saying that to you going to help ! Awful .
Great that you are getting all the tests and scans but the waiting is the cruel part .
I have a dear friend - she hasn’t had cancer - who had terrible headaches - she got all sort of tests and some not so pleasant ones and she got the all clear . Months of worry and they never ever got to the bottom of them . She can still get them but they aren’t so bad as she is not worrying .
Are you getting out and about , having a laugh with friends ? Have you tried reflexology for total relaxation - I can thoroughly recommend .
Sorry I can’t be of more help , but I can relate to your plight as when I had my CT scan of my tummy to check the blood vessels before my DIEP reconstruction, they noted a “growth “on my spine - this turned out to be something like a freckle!! That I would have had all my life and it’s nothing . But the worry till they checked the scan was awful - why did they need to mention it before the scan was properly checked ? It wasn’t going to help me !
I know they need to be transparent but not if it serves no use or help us meantime .
take care and keep us informed of the outcome . I hope you can get relief from the headaches . But worry won’t help ( easy to say that though )
night night
Ruby Rose
