Does anyone have any experience of which brand of tamoxifen is best please?  Thank you. Sandy.

  • Hi , I’m not sure there will be a best brand as we are all so different in how we can react. I had my prescription re filled last week and have been given Tillomed this time. It’s only my 2nd prescription and am unsure of the brand I had previously it had a blue logo. I had read the only difference is usually what they use in the coatings but I’m interested to see if I react any different as I have been feeling very low and my BC nurse did say the meds could impact this.

Will be interested to see if any others have an insight.

    Take care, hugs xx

Thank you. I am really hoping others will also give me some input. I have to go and see my GP to change from Letrazole. I am dreading the change and getting yet another set of side effects.  Please let me know how you find the brand change this time. Chopping and changing brands each month is one of my worries, so I was hoping to find out from people on here which brand to try for.  xx

  • Mine is called Arimidex but I believe it isn’t the same type as Tamoxifen. I started last week and coincidentally (or not) my fedupness started late last week. Maybe I have read too much about side effects and am inventing them for myself but my mood has deffo dipped and I al keeping an eye on myself.

    Hi,

I experienced severe side effects on a couple of different brands. I now take Wockhardt and it seems to be the best one for me. I still have mild side effects but they are manageable.

    Hope that helps xx
