Hey lovely ladies,
Quick question.
When do the annual mammograms start from?
I had my routine mammogram in Jan last year, biopsy Feb, Surgery March, Rads in May.
In people's experience is the recall likely?
Just wondered.
Thank you x
Good morning
My annual mammogram has always been one year on from the date of the surgery. So far I have had four clear ones!
However, I imagine different areas have different systems so don't worry if you don't hear for a bit but personally if you haven't heard chase it up around March / April.
Hope all goes well.
Karen
Hi
J's annual mammogram reviews were yearly from her surgery date too. I think they use that date as surgery is considered the primary removal treatment, whether you have had neoadjuvant chemo or not.
She had 5 (starting 2013) after that she was put back to needing them every 3 years as standard.

My mammograms have been from the day I went to breast clinical as a referral and I was then initially diagnosed. I am with private clinic...I get results there and then.
Yes as for others, pretty much a year after surgery give or take a month. I have had an appointment through for one this year at the end of Jan but I remember last year I had to ring up the breast surgeon's secretary to chase up the appointment
