    Morning

Hopefully someone else who has been through this will reply later but from what has been mentioned here before about Capsular Contraction the usual way forward is surgery to remove some of the scar tissue and have the implant replaced with a new one at the same time; or if this is just causing a misshapen breast lipomodelling can help.

This can be caused by rads effecting the implant, although it can just occur when too much, or very tight scar tissue is formed; over time it can cause the breast to rise further up the chest making one side look higher :-/

If this is sore now it may get worse so do get this checked out and see what options they offer you.

If you type capsular into the group search bar it should bring up any older messages where this is mentioned for now.

Hope you can get this sorted out soon, G n' J

Sorry I thought I had replied to your  email.  I'm still having bother with my breast so

I'm going to see my surgeon regarding it on Wednesday.  Have seen her before and

has  mentioned lipomodeling and maybe have to divide the capsular as part of its

attached to my skin.  Although this is a routine operation so could take years I just

don't think I could put up with it that long will just have to wait and see what she says

on Wednesday fingers crossed things will happen  quicker.

Thanks for your reply. Wishing you a Happy and prosperous 2020.

    Best Wishes

  • Hi G  n'  J   How's things with you?  I hope you in good health and enjoying life.

Sorry I can't understand why I havnt seen this message until now.

My surgeon referred me to pain clinic which I've been told there is a waiting list of 3

years . She said the plastic surgeon might have some suggestions, I'm going to see

him in Belfast on Wednesday  so hopefully it will go well.

Seemingly also I could wait for lipomodeling  for  over a year at least.  I still have

quite a lot of pain and shape of its getting worse. My other breast has got very

droopy  and my bra is massive on that side.

In saying that I'm grateful to be here, thanks to a multitude of prayers PrayPray

Look forward to hearing from you and how things are with you.

  • Hi G n' J  How are you doing?

I went to see the plastic surgeon today he said he doesn't know how to sort pain. He said that I do have Capsular

Contracture. The capsule is attached to my skin which is causing some pain, and why it is so hard, deformed and

uncomfortable. So I have to get implant removed, some of the skin under breast remove and replaced with skin.

from my back and new implant.. I will also need other breast lift and possibly implant too.  There is a long

waiting list so could be well over a year before I get it done and I'm gonna be put  on the priority  list at that.

So it's just a waiting game and have to find something to help with pain.

That's my events of the day. Have you been up to much and any plans? Take care and God bless xx
