First bout of chemo

Hi , just noticed that your post had gone unanswered. Sadly there will be tough days while you go through Chemo, but just think what it’s doing to those Cancer cells! 

I hope you have come through the other side now and you are feeling a bit more human. Just remember that’s one ticked off and one closer to the finishing line!

i hope your  checking your temperature. Remember you can phone the chemo line for help with side effects , I got meds for sore mouth and tummy cramps that really helped . Don’t suffer in silence .  I also developed lumps in the vaginal area , I had been admitted to hospital with a high temperature and they appeared - they took swabs but all clear - effects of chemo , once they went they never came back. 
Do not ignore a rise in your temperature - phone the 24hr cancer helpline . They will help and advise you and remember they are working in a job they choose to do - which is looking after everyone effected by cancer - you will not be classed as a nuisance. 
take care and hope things start to ease and get meds for the next time you have chemo .

I know it's grim. Phone the team if you have any worries/questions etc. 

I'm 3 in and 3 more to go. You will get thru them I promise . But i know exactly how you are feeling. 

I've found each cycle a little different so you may not feel this way next time and also you will start to pick up before your next cycle so should have  few days relief.
