I have a mammogram booked Monday but i'm still swollen from radiotherapy and still sore from surgery . Surely it's all too soon? It is a years snce diagnosis but after 3 ops and rads I'm not ready emotionally nor physically and just want to bury my head in the sand. It also makes me physically shaken and nauseous to think of it all starting up again. Any thoughts or has anyone felt the same?

Share your worries with your breast nurse before your appointment. I have a 6 mth check shortly and have lymphoedema in my breast. I am going to discuss with her next week with regards to scans etc.

Its normal to worry.

Hi I had my first year mammogram two weeks ago. Here they do it 12 months after your last surgery and not diagnosis. I got myself worked up as I still get pain in boob but it really wasn't that bad. Tell them of your concerns. Good luck x
