Drug called chocolate

Morning

My Dad was six foot strong silent type, my mum knew he loved her though , cos at christmas if he got a Brazil nut out of the shell whole he gave it to my mum, and every now and then he'd arrive home with a walnut whip. This she would eat very carefully trying to get the nut from inside without eating too much of the shell. The other treat for her was a sherbet fountain. She use to suck the sherbet up through the liquorice straw. I remember him with tears rolling down his face laughing while she choked on thesherbert as it went down the wrong way.

Those were the days. Sweets once a week on a Sunday having spent the day walking in the Dales.

Morning thought we might need to get some excercise after all that chocolate

During chemo the only chocs I could taste were MMs or dark choc ginger. I love flakes but they were just awful. But be honest choc does contain most of the major food groups

I couldn’t eat chocolate when I was having chemo. Or a glass of wine. Or anything else much. It was really sad.

But I’m better now so all’s well.

Thank you for all your replies.....I feel so much better imaging you all guzzling chocolate , marshmallows etc  etc !
