Bad day. I was in M&S this morning, put out my hand to get a lettuce but it came back with a pack of three Walnut Whips ! I have eaten them all....Do I feel better ? Yes a bit but I also feel sick.
Does anyone else use this drug ?
Okay okay Lottie8,
I admit it......
My Name is Sal and I am an addict!
I MIGHT of had a rather yummy, gooey and VERY chocolatey piece of Brownie today !
Once I got hold if it.......
Thank you so much. I am pretty computer illiterate I’m afraid !
Of course Buttercup....l’ve gone off Walnut whips. Back to darl chocolate from Lidl then.
Gorgeous dog Sal. My 14 year old King Charles (not Cavalier) is no long for this world sadly. I think she will be our last dog unfortunately.
Ok LondonLass
just because you have been honest and admitted to being an addict ! Also been a bit down lately here is something for you to try......
in your microwave .please be careful when they say large bowl they mean as big as you can get in . The mixture erupts like volcano

OH COME ON Northerner..........
In the 1 minute it takes to melt the butter, i’ll Need another bag of marshmallows! Okay okay, MY NAMES SAL and I’M A MARSHMALLOW ADDICT!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmmmmmmm maybe I have more issues than I thought!! Xxxx
I suppose that might explain the acid reflux Northerner!!!! Although I promise I haven’t had any marshmallows or chocolate before bed! So
all will be fine! Xxxx
Mmmm, marshmallows....
There, I've admitted it, I too am a marshmallow fiend. Although to be fair, I can also get through chocolate at a faster rate than is strictly decent. Only yesterday did a big pack of orange smarties and a toblerone (autocorrect just made that tombstone, which made me laugh - death by chocolate!) jumped into my trolley and begged to come home with me. Well, it would have been rude to tell them no, so I invited them back...
Yum...
Dear Lottie8 and all the others involved in this tabu subject! ...
What can I say, I am so pleased you have had the courage to open up to us. This has led to me feeling that I am able to share this with you all, I to, shamefully I know, I have to admit I do use this drug on a 'more than regular basis'.
I had taken part in the 'Walking Back to Happiness' group and for the sake of blood sugar numbers was reducing the amount of chocolate I was using, I 'was' doing really well, I cut back, even lost pounds in weight from both walking and cutting the chocolate....
i wished my story stopped here, now where it is because my 2nd year mammogram is looming a few weeks off, but, I have relapsed, I've relapsed big time.... I am having to try all different types of this drug to get my fix, at present Orange Club Biscuits (2 of, .... do I confess to having 3 with one cup of tea!!! - I can't confess this, I will leave this up to you to choose).
Owww and I have found out about 'Croissants'!!! - actually, they are "Chocolate Croissants" - oww my goodness me, these are so more'ish - luckily they come in packets of 4 or 6 - which is nice.
So yes, I confess, I am using this drug too - I would appreciated any help to get off this, as it is doing my blood sugar numbers no good whatsoever and also my weight is suffering from this addiction.
One piece of advice I can give, if you are taking this - be careful how much you consume as for some reason if you have too much you can start to feel slightly sick.... don't panic thought, this feeling doesn't last too long - you will be able to consume again in around an hour or so.
Just noticed that Lottie8 did get to the stage of feeling sick - Lottie, please don't worry this feeling will pass and you will be able to consume more Walnut Whips.... I mean lettuce, you will be able to eat lettuces.
Does anyone remember...... Vanilla flavoured 'Duncan' Walnut Whips with both a walnut on the top and a walnut inside at the bottom!! I won't mention the coffee flavoured ones - they did make you feel sick, a little like the coffee flavoured Revels!! I can remember going into the 'Out Door' and asking..... please can I have a 'vanilla flavoured duncan walnut whip'
Happy Days - Love and Hugs, Gail xx
