Hi All,
I came across this useful Website tonight, Breast Density Matters UK. I wished I had known or looked into Breast Density before my diagnosis. I had Extremely dense breast tissue, now I realise it would be difficult to see a tumour on a mammogram only and it states a yearly US is recommended, never had one till they suspected a tumour.
What I don't understand, is if tumour are difficult to see on mammograms, how can they see the microcalcifications?
