Hi all,
I am due to start chemo on Tuesday (FEC) for 4 weeks then something else with herceptin. I was diagnosed July 5th but firmly believe it was missed July 2018. I have had a lumpectomy followed by further tissue removal. I was told all had been removed and CT scan was clear. However I found an other lump last week above the original tumour prior to seeing the oncologist. I have now had it confirmed it is the cancer. I have now been fast tracked for chemo and informed a mastectomy after the chemo. I am scared of the side effects and what my future holds given that either it has been missed or come back prior to treatment. Any one else had similar experience.

I have just responded to your post in the under 50s group. Read my profile i have been through similar to you but i pleased to say i am now cancer free.
I would say go say hello to the lovely lot in the September chemotherapy chat 2019 you will find people in there going through the same as you or who have been in the same situation as you. They will offer you great advice and support. when i was going through treatment it was a life saver for me and helped no end knowing i wasn't going through it alone.
