First trip to A&E

Hi I had palpitations and chest pain from day 5 (counting chemo day as day 1) for three days this cycle. I also went to A&E, but a Saturday night one (we pick them, don't we!), and bloods apparently OK, and the 1 second  ECG was OK too. Steroids can affect your heart. Which ones are you on, and when are you taking them? They give me so many tablets I'd never take normally for the days after EC, and I'm sure if I didn't have the chemo I'd ironically feel worse on them for the first few days.

Your blood pressure could well be up from stress. It's amazing how that affects it! When I had it checked just before my first chemo it was something like 170/90, and is usually about 125/75!
