Hi guys,
So, after surgery I was started on Letrozole, and was actually all good until 3 months later when SE relating to bones, and right hand started affecting me. Badly. So, oncologist said to come off for 2 weeks (I actually stayed off for 4 weeks as SE's went away completely and I felt soooo good)
Started on Aromasin and SE's were much worse. Needed a stick to walk, and my right hand and wrist is nearly unusable. So, now off them since last week and seeing the oncologist Wednesday. (No real improvement yet. but fingers crossed - I'm fed up of feeling like I'm a hundred!!!!)
She mentioned that looks like I have an issue with Aromatase inhibitors so she's thinking of trying me on Tamoxifen. ????
I guess I'll talk through it with her on Wednesday, but I'm post menopause, so didn't think Tamoxifen would be much good for me?
(I have trouble with kidneys so can't have anti inflammatories.)
I'm going aquarobics x3 times a week (I love it) and am on the Fast 800 diet (I do have a lot to lose) Have lost 35lb so far, so getting there.
Does anyone have any questions I should be asking, or any thoughts?
As ever, I appreciate the help.
Hope everyone is doing ok!
K
