Lipomodelling is it worth it

Hi Minksy,

im in a similar situation and now mostly wear padded bras as a result. I look ok in a bra but there’s a flat area centr to outside of my boob. The implant is a bit smaller than it might have been (surgeon admitted that) and so I’ve asked to go to our areas ‘reconstruction’ clinic to find out more.

I’ll be interested to see what replies you get as my implant is quite a bit smaller than my real boob - bras are a nightmare! I did buy some pads to wear but find them quite uncomfortable to wear for long. Got my first anniversary appointment in the morning (been cancelled 3 times already) so will see what they say then. Helen x

Sorry I'm only seeing this post now, and realise my response may be too late.

I had LD reconstruction last November plus sime lipofilling on my left side. Initially my breast was huge compared to my right breast but I was warned that swelling would go down and lipofill would dissipate and would need one or two more lipofills. In actual fact I have never needed more lipofill as my breasts  are very evenly balanced. (NB I had some reduction on the tight breast at time of surgery).

The lipofilling was very very sore at the time and in the first few days after. But imho well worth it. Today, 9 months on from surgery I got fitted for lovely bras and was told I had great boobs!
