Oh .  Sorry you are feeling so rough.  This sounds so like a bad chest infection.  Why don't you phone NHS direct?  They will probably be able to get you seen by an emergency doctor.  But still worth going back to GP to get your other concerns laid to bed.  The weight loss does sound worrying.  Hope you feel better soon xx

    Go to A&E.

Get seen ... you are not faking it... you need to be seen.

The longer you leave it the worse it will get.

Your past medical history means you need a chest x-ray.

    Go to the ED department.

The worst they will do is roll their eyes ... go!

NHS online is only available in England , Im in west wales !

  • Hi , phone 111, they will listen and advise, they'll also tell you if you should go to A&E. Forget online, you need to speak to someone medical. I've used it and they were very helpful. Sorry you're having these horrible symptoms and worries. Please phone 111 and let us know how you get on. Hugs, HFxx

    Hi BigKaty

I've been thinking about you. So glad you got seen by the med team and that they are looking after you although being in hospital is not fun, you will get fast tracked through any tests.

Truly hope all the results are treatable .... like a nice little chest infection which some IV antibiotics will kick into touch.

Keep strong, take time to get better.

  • Hi , very glad to hear from you, you're in the right place, hope you get quick results and get started on treatment. What a horrible time you've had, now's the start of getting it sorted.

Keep in touch, hope you start feeling better soon. Hugs, HFxx
