    Hi

i had a masectomy and lymph removal in Feb, so slightly different op, but found some bras in Asda (post surgery ones) which were soft and minimal seems... not too bad £££ wise either, might be worth a look?

i did live in vest tops as well though with the support in (m&s)  and still do so now some days!

    Good luck!

  • Hi,

i did quite a bit of bra shopping and the softest by far were Sloggi zero feel, as they are padded they disguise the slightly odd, different shape I have post mx with implant, but not easy to put on as they are one piece, so if you’re slim hipped you can get them up that way but if your arm movement is good, (mine is) then over your head.

Thry aren’t cheap but wash and wear really well. I got mine from JL. They do ease off a bit too, I bought a generous size for sleeping which is now a bit looser.

    Hugs xxx

I also bought post surgery bras from Asda, they're good value for money and don't look any different to ordinary bras. They also have lots of colours.

I ordered some in a variety of sizes and tried them at home and took back the ones i didn't want.

I was recommended medulla yoga feeding bras.

I know ... odd choice but... they are soft, adjustable straps which the sloggi ones do not have and easy access to boob.

    I find them really good.

    Xxxx

  • Hi there,

You can also get bra extenders which you can use with your regular bras - makes them a lot looser so will rub less.

Hope it goes well for you.

    Hello T10

I had my lumpectomy nearly 2 years ago.  Like you I tried all different bras, but have discovered a good range of crop style bras from Sainsburys . No wires,  no padding, no hooks.  They are soft but at the sametime gently supportive..  I still wear an ordinary bra if I go out but I still wear the crop bra around the house and find them very comfortable for sleeping in.

I hope you find a solution.

I got some excellent bras from JD Williams. They are front fastening and are very soft and not underwired .  I would definitely recommend them

Hi ladies, glad to read this post and all the replies, t y s m for the suggestions of makes and shops or online to try which you found worked for you.   My lumpectomy, r/t etc. etc. was a year ago but Bettyboob the one operated on is playing me up and hates ALL the bras I bought from different sources while the other one (Brenda) yep crazy names but sense of humour has and continues to help me through the cr*p   ........ I am, how they say, mega curvy.    Betty still itches and appears like jaffa orange peel from time to time plus the scar hurts but the bras had to come off after half an hour they dug in so much, so will look online especially the crop style ones as 'Brenda' needs her uplift too!!     Hope you all continue to do OK on your respective long healing bc journeys.  Gentle hugs.
