Hi all,
I’m new to this group, but love the friendly conversations and support you are all giving to one another. I wish you all a very happy and sunny Easter.
i wonder if anyone can help me. I’ve had chemo, surgery and radiotherapy which finished last December. All went pretty ok except for the toe and fingernails. I’m still on herceptin injections and have now developed a horrible cough which just won’t go away! It’s a kind of chest rattle and nothing relieves it. Anyone else experienced this? Many thanks
hi
welcome to the breast group
I had Herceptin but I don't remember suffering with a cough, although I had plenty of other side effects, mostly mild, some of which I didn't realise were side effects until nearly the end of my treatment.
Black coffee and a spoon of honey is my 'go to' for a tickle but Boots own blackcurrant pastels are good, worth a try at 99p
When I was waiting for my diagnosis I realised I'd had a cough for months, that was a worry but it wasn't really a cough, more like a constant need to clear my throat, annoying for me as well as everyone else.
sorry I'm not much help.
Carolyn
