I had a mastectomy on Monday so have been in hospital for 5 days. On Tuesday my nurse brought in a carrier bag and said there are some gifts in there for you fro HER Breast Friends (Hull & East Riding Breast friends) they are a charity who make goodie bags for ladies with breast cancer. In the bag there was a pillow, a dammit doll, a gift bag and a folder with lots of support information and a Free voucher for 3 complementary therapies.
Now those that know me know it doesn't take much to make me blub but this made me blub happy tears, to think a group of people had thought about ladies like me and put something together to make a difference. I just wanted to share them with you all.
