When i was first told i would need chemotherapy the first thing i worried about was losing my hair.I didn't want a wig because i thought you would be able to tell that it was a wig, then a few of the lovely ladies showed me photographs of themselves in theirs and they looked amazing, would never have guessed they were wearing a wig and because of that i went out and bought 2 and absolutely love them.
So i thought i'd start a post for us beautiful ladies to show off our wigs (if we want to) in the hope it might help someone starting on their chemo journey. And let them see how beautiful we are with our New Hair.
Wow!!! I love it I use to do my hair that colour before it left my head
I have been dying bright red for about 12 years so I needed a bit of an alternative colour, my 9 year old chose this one.
Been to wig shop and had my longer wig restyled. Really pleased with it. About 3 inches shorter and much comfier with winter scarves etc.

It looks really great and you will get used to it. I took my longer one for a hair cut and restyle before my recent op. That was strange - hairdressers for wig.
You look great xx
that looks lovely wouldn’t guess it was a wig, love the little hair grip too xx
There are some brill wigs- I'm going wig free in Feb (school hols) but this was me in the summer - still wearing this wig - have so many compliments about my hair!! More than my own hair!!
Thank you ladies. and Bluebell22 your hair looks AMAZING. I wish I'd been brave enough to try a fringe but I've just never had one so chickened out lol
yeah I out in a wee sparkly grip as it kept falling forward, I've obviously got used to having no hair getting in my way very quickly!
