But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

I’m OK thank you Tired Minion . Glad the new job seems more promising xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Just lovely to see springtjme progress marked in the trees and flowers. Yes a swift walk, trying to keep up the exercise I made such strides in while away!
white violets almost seems a misnomer!

Today I helped work on the small machine, Petard, which was the prototype for the Bombe (when plans came from GCHQ they were very incomplete and so Petard was built to test hypotheses) . It seems to have a very sticky bearing, we tried to take some of the assembly apart but with no construction plans, it was built in around 1996 and the engineers mind was a touch hazy. But we got an idea of how to proceed.
This evening I’ve been watching ‘Enigma’ with paper and pencil to take down any details ready for Thursdays talk on Enigma and the Bombe. I’ve already made a huge list of inaccuracies in ‘The Imitation Game’ but Enigma is lots better.
Tomorrow I’ve a podiatrist appointment….gosh I do live dangerously, haha!

Sounds technical and very interesting!
I am still amazed with my energy during then 6-7 days later after an infusion of ZA!! We mended a pothole on friends drive through the far. And diverted a spring that flowed into hole. Several large vehicles have driven over it and still looks solid. When it pours with rain not sure how it will be, but as it’s been dry for 3rd day in a row and leaving today, we have wait and see.
ah the pothole mend was to show how much energy I had to help, and to remove mud and moss from drive too. I have walked and will duly upload photos on ‘walk’ thread.
delightful Electric Palace in Bridport. A lovely market town
