But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

My house is suddenly a lot emptier! The auction house valuer was happy to take all the die cast vehicles (mostly 1:43 scale but a few bigger ones) and was very helpful in advising what to do with railway stuff (1:76 scale) - at a different time - and also hubs’ hand made models. She seems to think there’s some which will sell really well.

He certainly did know his stuff, all his working life was in the motor industry. He always told me that his collection would be ‘worth a bit’.
Son is going to have hearse and limousine hand built models (he had advised hubs as he was a funeral director for few years) and Daughter will have a hand built Mini (her first car was a Mini which we bought her as a birthday present) . I’m keeping a Morris Traveller which he built to represent my Dads car which we bought after he had died, it even has the reg number correct!

The funds will help do some of the work needed on the house and garden, there’s quite a bit needing doing still but not quite as essential as what I’ve already had done.
I thought how brave Princess Anne was in her speech, it must be very emotional to speak about this in so much public when you’re grieving. I was able to watch a good bit of the last journey back to London, and to ‘HQ’, Buckingham Palace. There was a mention of whether the Queen had wished to die in Scotland and whether she stayed at Balmoral on purpose therefore. Who knows….
I understand that the Princess Royals trip with Her Majesty was requested by the Queen herself?

Mmm I’m quite happy watching on TV the Queens coffin move from BP to Westminster hall, and all other moments to come. Westminster and localities will be teeming! I’m half an hour by train from Paddington but not wishing to be there at all, I haven’t the energy to stand for long. I do hope that it will all be peaceful and as safe as possible for those queuing.
we will be a day late arriving in IOW as motorhome needs another part…. I’ll go for a walk perhaps….
And actually, as an extended family I think we will spend a day at Windsor once all the fuss has died down! Already looking for a spot to camp/moho!
I’ve got Henry with me today now, after half a thought of whining when daughter reversed off the drive, he’s settled surprisingly quickly!

Quite a few hours, got given 6-7 pm when she got her yellow wrist band but it was gone 8.30 before I spotted her and screenshot that photo.
However, she was thinking it would be the middle of the night or even this morning before she got through so she was surprised. She is due back here to pick up Henry and get home.
He’s being pretty good but has kept me awake a bit ‘on guard’! And is flat out now of course….(all right for some!)
