But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

How nice to have had a nice hair cut, moomy!!
i tried to die my own grey bits over lockdown and in fact loved the colour but didn’t love doing it!!
So have made an apptment for 16 July...and May ask them if they can use that colour?Don’t see why not,if I buy them a box and ask them to use it.Might even get a discount!(who knows?)...but it might hurt their pride...not sure...
I had thought I might take up doing my own hair and save lots of money....but I didn’t like doing it.Apart from that...it is just so nice to have a nice little chat and be pampered a bit with coffee and mags.Xx
Just as a warning, Violetsniff, my local salon advise they aren’t doing coffee and there will be no mags and no sitting waiting and chatting......sounded rather strict so I was glad to go to my hairdressers home (as I used to before she went part time in the salon).
so just be prepared!

Had my meds delivered with a note saying no Ranitidine. I’d seen the recall and decided it was time to swap again so messages the GP, an electronic script is at the chemist already! That was speedy!
its been too wet to do anything much apart from a bit of fruit picking in the garden to beat the blackbird, he does like his loganberries and I allow him the high, out of reach ones!
but I did manage some yoga and a bit of piano practise which I’ve discovered stirs up some hand and wrist pain.....oh dear!

So tired today, I am thinking I may have a wheat sensitivity, had a grumbling gut most of yesterday which got progressively worse till bedtime, had wheat/wheat products in all 3 meals yesterday which I normally try to avoid. This morning, violent tummy ache and a goodly number of visits to the loo (I know, tmi!) and I’m half lying on the sofa feeling shattered and a bit sorry for myself!
Memo to self, take it easy and don’t repeat the wheat today!

Thanks, Violetsniff, phone calls to our GPS aren’t being done, we have an on line triage system!!! It’s clunky and not very good, but if you stress a problem hard enough someone phoned you back. Loving your photo comps!

Thankyou,moomy!!
Well Am pumped now!been into town and got some photos for my next arty project, and also two cloth dolls from the Charity shop which I will redress !!yippe,(the are quarantining in the hall atm.)
SO many people in town!they were trying to socially distance, but in the end I had to put my mask on,and came the quiet way home.
Especially in shops. In the photo shop another man came in with a mask on,and we exchanged chatter. It is a sort of club now,”We WhoWear Masks!!”
Anyway I dodged any COVID showers or spray, from shouty teens. It was a bit of a minefield.
Back on the carrot barons as haven’t lost any weight this week.
I do hope you Are having a nice day as much as possible.xxxx
After the rubbish morning and a light lunch my ‘innards’ have behaved! So we had a light roast dinner! And I’m fine.
i feel warm again too, was chilly this morning.
its a lovely quiet evening, daughter has taken the plunge and they have gone away for a few days. Her partners mother has a house with lots of grounds around, well fields really so its isolated so they can camp. She has actually had Covid-19 early in the year and is clear but has been very slow to recover so I think they wanted to see for themselves that all is as well as possible (though at a sensible distance!). Henry-pup is loving the freedom!
