But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Just to add to this, I took our Landy on a run as she had a flat battery and needed a jump start a couple of days back, we’ve ordered a new one but till it’s delivered a daily drive is in order! That’s my first drive for about 3 months! I wasn’t sure I’d remember how but it did all come back!

Ha! Yes, stubborn streak indeed!
today is going to be an easier (though most likely hotter!) day, I’ve got a podiatry appointment which will help enormously, I’ve a nasty sore toe which I know he will treat to make it more comfortable! Not sure if it’s Letrozole related but there’s one toe joint badly aligned now, which rubs lots on the next toe and creates a corn. That’s really sore now that it hasn’t been treated for about 4 months!
tonight I might do some clipping when it cools down, just before it gets dark. Tomorrow we have someone coming to quote for the drive, so tomorrow too will hopefully be an easy day, might do some clipping in the early morning and again in the evening, then Friday we are free so I should be able to get it finished, hopefully.
Saturday we are off to Whipsnade on a timed ticket and Sunday to see daughter, oh my we do have a busy schedule, hahaha!

And my feet feel amazing! He cut well into the corn shaving off lots of hard skin and then lifting the corn out, its got a dressing on it now for a couple of days, but SO much more comfortable! There was another on the same heel but I really never noticed that!

Does anyone else get really grumpy in the heat? I suspect I’m worse than usual because of the Letrozole. I’m indoors trying to keep as cool as possible, fans going, cool drinks, wipe downs with damp flannel....
ah well, the weather is supposed to break on Friday so there’s only tomorrow to get through!
