But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Ps, did you all hear about the possibility of Painted Lady butterflies swarming through the country this year? Apparently they fly long distances and are amassing over Europe so they hope they might get to the UK this summer in big numbers (presumably haven’t heard about Brexit, haha!)

Thanks Flossie25. Slowly recovering. The plumber had unplugged the freezer.50 specially prepared meals(by lovely DH) cos I am on a restricted diet ( can't eat normal food) all ruined! He is going to pay! Now the heating keeps coming on and we're not sure how to control it. No instructions. I am useless with anything like that, but DH is going to look at the website.(New boiler) B12 is helping.
Well done walking 9-10 miles! Xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Oh heck, Seaspirit! What a bind!
But glad the B12 seems to be helping....

Hello ladies, I'm trying to catch up on this post - I was forever in here and then for some reason.... my mind comes to mind haha, I keep forgetting to drop in.
You know the funny things I notice about the Fruit Loops on here, in a lot of ways how similar most of us are. Like the caring for nature, the love of the butterflies and wildlife. ..... the need for B12 and now I have forgotten the other 2 that I noticed.
Sending love to all - especially seaspirit44, moomy, Flossie25 and - not meaning to leave anyone out - so love to all.
Hopefully, I will close the computer and go to bed now, its 1:17am.... I need to get some sleep.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend xxxx
Oh Whathappened, (yes I agree, we are similar!)
