But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Up at silly o’clock to let out puppy for a wee etc, now he’s had breakfast and I’m back in bed for a non-sleep break.....why can one never sleep when one has been up? Come back, daughter, all is forgiven, and take over puppy again!

Phew!
They all came; it meant we could introduce the dogs to each other again, sons dog is calm but was a rescue so is a bit tricky around other dogs sometimes. In the end the puppy teased him but got snapped at and chased! So although the pup tries it on I think he knows his place!
And they stayed for lunch, but have all gone now, so the lawn got cut and some more washing on the go.....

A loooong sleep last night! Although the puppy was so good sleeping, I still had an alarm set for 6am, so was very tired. And he had no accidents which was great, at 19 weeks old.
So funny seeing the two dogs together, he teased son’s dog lots but knew his place when son’s dog could run as fast as him, and turned round mid chase and growled and barked! They then respected each other a bit more as son’s dog had claimed ‘boss’ status!
And today we get ready and pack for our week away starting tomorrow....our third holiday this year!
