But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Hi Violetsniff,
I’ve watched a long prog about them before, from the view of Mrs Simpson, fascinating, was this the same one, I wonder?
I actually watched the last 3 episodes of ‘The Night Manager’ which we’d had as a Christmas present, well acted and great to see Hugh Laurie play a ‘baddy’!
Hi HappyFeet,
that sounds like a wonderful experience, hope the music didn’t keep you awake?
Today it’s really chilly but hopefully might allow me a walk.....

For the first time for ages, it seems, washing is virtually dry outside, just a bit chilly and damp still but just a few minutes indoors will sort that! I love the smell of washing dried in the fresh air!
and I did get my walk, and have muddy walking boots to clean as a result, although parts were still frozen, pats had already had the sun and so were just that, muddy!

I’ve had washing stuff as cardboard too, in the past, Violetsniff, oddly enough it seems to dry very fast when indoors, never been sure why! My washing is now away in the airing cupboard, very pleasing!
and a cake is baking in the oven now......yum!

Morning ladies
Im waiting for a good washing day .. I do like to hang them out too. Talk of opera house, proms, ballet reminds me to book up for something this year ... as well as some comedy .. still haven’t looked out for Bill Bailey.
Relatively balmy today

.....And he knew he’d done it as I yelped and yelled! But he didn’t stop, to be honest he was going so fast I don’t think he could stop as I’m not sure bike brakes in the wet would have worked well enough to stop him that quickly!
But I think I’m ok....yoga tomorrow will show.....
