But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Hi ,
i hope all goes well and you have a wonderful and safe trip. I suspect we will find it hard to decide where to go when we first venture out! I’d love to see the sea, though!
Ive realised why the Covid numbers jumped, they were firstly only reporting hospital tests, now they are including all.

Keeping a very careful eye on the weather (yes I’ve washing out!) it’s humid but quite cool, I’m not quite sure how that goes together....I was reading in the news about fires and fast warming in the Arctic at the mo, the worlds weather has gone a bit crazy. (Even worse than my hair!)

But I am going to get my Barnet done, my hairdresser is about to go on maternity leave anyway and we are old friends, she’s laughed at my selfie and says she can’t wait, I will be popping round with freshly washed hair so she doesn’t need to worry about any bending over!
Just watched episode one of ‘The Prisoner’, had forgotten what cult viewing it became, it was so good, ingenious and funny, also great to see Portmeirion, such a lovely place. We stayed in one of the cottages for a week just after son’s wedding.

moomy, I’m not going to the hairdresser yet, though my hair is now down to my shoulders! It’s purple now, and I have managed to dye all the roots using DH’s paintbrush. Don’t feel safe yet to go, so will stay with the home colouring.
We now have a golden rose next to the Ruby Wedding (still gorgeous). It is called D.......Gold, can’t read the label. Same lovely petals as the red and looks to be long lasting too.
Had a lovely day out at Portmerien just before I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Stay safe xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hi seaspirit44,
our golden anniversary rose is in bud still but showing colour, the ruby one is out in riotous flowers, it’s a floribunda so lots of flowers on each stem.

Used up some left overs for dinner, made a sort of one pot stew, it was surprisingly tasty. And yesterday I had 'ousted' some cooked fruit from the freezer to make room, made a crumble, and we finished that off tonight too, yummy.
And i did do the hated cleaning (why do I hate cleaning? I've no idea, but I do!)
I keep catching a glimpse of the new hair in mirrors, and love it, keep running my hands through it! We decided to make a bit of a change to my former style, and of course it had the length to be able to do so!
