But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Sounds as though you’ve got on top of nosebleed moomy Hope that was a lone one.
I’m wondering about getting out for a walk. Don’t think it’s going to warm up and will feel in the minuses when out …, brrrr. Other option is Wiifit

A really lovely massage this afternoon. My therapist is getting to some of those tight scars from the rads, but gently. She’s doing studies into oncology massage, so in a way it’s good that she’s helping herself as well as me!
Daughter is moving into the Henley flat to change the mortgage from a buy to let so she can do shorter length contracts. I’m cross it isn’t selling but maybe her moving stuff in there will help, too. She’s still going to be staying here too as this area is such a great north-south transport link, and she works both ways. It’s even easier to get to Milton Keynes from a West End show than to Henley on Thames, can you believe?! And she’s thinking a West End show signing up would be a good bet to build savings.

Moomy
Daughter has done such a lot, son and son in law have been there helping do some of the lifting and handling too, the sofa bed and also king sized bed are now in place. They’ve worked like mad, bless them. I’m only sorry I couldn’t have helped too. But I’ve been busy here, cooking, taking down Christmas decs and so on. Will clean tomorrow. I’ve also managed a couple of walks, once to Lidl and once just for pleasure. I’ve tried to take care of left nostril (scarf/mask) as I suspect the very cold air has played a part in the nosebleed recently. Thankfully I’ve got an ENT appointment later this month when hopefully they will be able to sort it out for me.

Moomy
I hope it’s not to bad underfoot when out and about moomy but a sprinkling of snow sounds ok. I’m waiting til it gets up to 0°c before venturing outside for a walk but will have to go out to replenish bird feed. Will wait til it’s “warmer” to replenish water although that will just be a solid block of ice.
