But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Mega episode of feeling unwell, D&V, son came and collected Henry-dog as there’s no way I could look after him, daughter pulled out of her gig tomorrow just in case, she’s on the drive in campervan should I need her.
phoned 111, they were very concerned at the amount of fluids that I’ve lost and wanted me to be seen, but once I explained I’m a retired OT, BP and temp are ok, and the vomiting is reducing, he accepted that I can GP in the morning unless things go downhill. I’m sipping warm dioralyte solution and so far keeping that down.
heck! I took careful advice as to what meds to leave off tonight as they might irritate kidneys.

Well my OH has just had a bit of a problem No tea towels in the drawer!! Where could they be? Today is the day he realised and to be fair so did I, that tea towels don’t need ironing. I’ll add it to the small list of positives along with the time it takes to get ready now I don’t need to do anything with my hair!
Three times! What did I do?
Oh bless you Silverberg and yes, tee towels definitely don’t need ironing!
Feeling a bit better, was last sick around 7.30 am, and the is easing too. Managed to brush my teeth an hour or so ago so mouth feels better. Dioralyte is still working and keeping me hydrated. Sips only. Made ginger tea but not fancying it much.

Sooo tired but managed to catch up on tv that I’d missed last night which I think has worn me out. Interestingly I’m feeling warmer this evening, felt very cold last night but now the only cold bit is feet (and I’ve put bed socks on!)
really hope this is it and I’m not sick again.
