Just thinking ladies, as we are all going through much the same journey that we should have a thread on here for crafts. I am sure there are lots of you knitting, crocheting, sewing etc to keep the dreaded side effects at bay and help us cope day to day.
I personally knit and have posted on here some of my knitting. Would be nice to see/hear what other people do. We could share pictures, hints and tips as well
So I will start with a couple of things I have done in the last few days.
This is my slouch hat that I finished on Friday night. Will be wearing it for the first time today!!
This was on the needles saturday night ......
And finished saturday night. A little headband/earwarmer for my granddaughter.
I am now off to have my PICC line inserted ready for 2nd round of chemo tomorrow (!!!!!!):)
Hope to see lots of pics when I come back!!
Have a good day everyone xx
Wow kumihimo they're fantastic!
There's a long boring story behind my username but Frances is one of my middle names :)
I give most of my finished projects away to anyone who wants them but I have a couple of pics saved of a set I crocheted for a lovey first-time mummy at the church I used to attend.
I'll add more if 1) this works and 2) I can transfer the photos from my phone to my laptop.
Looks good Frankie. Are you happy with it?
It took me about 4 before I got them exactly right for my shape.
Thank you.
It looks bit big for the b cup it was supposed to be. It was just a practice to see if I could do it and it's not stuffed but I think it's pretty good for the 1st try. It's too early to say if I will need one but if I can get the sizing right I'll donate them.
I didn't realise the pic would out that big so I think next time I'll post from my laptop.
Well obviously the sun has taken over. But guessing there are some ladies out there whilst sitting waiting for appts and treatment might like to know this thread exists

I have just this second finished knitting a doggie coat when this message came in. To be honest I was beginning to think something was up with my iPad as I haven’t had one daily digest for over a week now. Has anyone else had the same problem? I have logged in and out but doesn’t make any difference. Seems to have happened since the site was down for maintenance or something a few days/a week or so back.
Back to craft things I’m now going to knit some more stock8ngs and Christmas puddings and she’s some lavender bags.
Love and hugs

I'm still working on the mammoth tapestry but to be honest, I'm getting a bit bored with it. However, I know if I put it aside, I won't get back to it for a couple of years. So, I've just slowed right down. I want to knit some toys like weeblemum!
kumihimo I belong to several groups but haven't received digests for any of them. I expect it's to do with the upgrade. Some of the champs are pretty cross about what's happening (or not happening) but I haven't been following it really - too tiresome.
Afraid there is a lot of fast and furious plate spinning going on from the Tech Team!! If you get my drift
Tiresome and tedious for all concerned I'm afraid
Apologies from the Admin Team
Leolady56 - who must get quilting again before the grandson has a grandson himself!!!
