Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Oh that sounds just wonderful! Hope you enjoy every moment!
Hugs xxx

Had drive up to st Mary’s lighthouse in Whitley bay today .. tide out so nice walk across causeway . Followed by a drive along coast to North Shields fish Quay for fish and chips . “Vera “ crew back there filming . A couple of pics
Beautiful........
It could be anywhere along the Med!
I love our NE coast line Lacomtekp My dad was from North Shields at the mouth of the Tyne so that coast line was my playground when visiting grandparents . We went early so back home before hottest part of day .
Sister had friends with her today keeping her busy so we made use of our free time .
Fab photos Northerner. My sister and I used to take our 5 kids for Easter caravan holidays when they were younger, and the first was at Whitley Bay. I think the booking lady (done by telephone back in the day) thought I was mad when I reeled off their ages - 5 under 7’s in one caravan - but we always had a good time! Berwick became the favourite as so easy to get to by train. Happy days!
HappyFeet1 a wonderful week spent exploring the birth Norfolk coastline in the glorious sunshine! As promised here are some photos. Didn’t get up as far as Cley or Wells next sea. We’ll just have to go back another time.
Yesterday we had a hospital appointment for OH in Blaye so we went early and walked around the town and Citadel.
Lovely beach Daydreamer6, is it Holkham? Think you had great weather. Lovely views too Lacomtekp, and more amazing weather!
Walked with a friend yesterday after torrential rain, luckily it had rained itself out by the time we met. Autumn colours beginning, and some lovely reflections on the river. Love to all, HFxx
Lovely photos Lacomtekpand HappyFeet1 I love the autumn colours. My photo was of a stretch of beach between Cromer & Sheringham. All in all managed to average my 10,000 steps a day. Just need to keep it up now we’re back home and back to a desk job!!
Lovely photos again,ladies!
I was fortunate to go to meet with my older sister last Friday at Wisley Flower Show so I will pop some pics on here to speak for themselves xx
