Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Hi All,
Not posted for a while. Just had a look through the lovely photos. Went for a walk the other day. Very flat as was once a railway.
The blue flowers are meconopsis (Himalayan poppy).

A gentle walk today just around our local town....so flat because it's already hot but also OH doesn't want to over stretch his knee before our holiday. The hyaluronic acid injections he had earlier in the year seem to be continuing to work!
Love the caterpillar Bluebell Woods! I did a flat walk too this morning, mostly in the shade thank goodness. So thankful to have woods at the bottom of the road, then more after short stretch of sunny path. Can you see the fairy flying across the second photo? Especially for Violetsniff! Xx

Hi Happyfeet,
Yes, I can see the fairy!

Ooh like the fairy and star Violetsniff! And lovely flower photos ladies. Did a historical walk in St Albans yesterday which was fascinating, no photos but here are some adolescents and babies from the day before. Walking with friend later, going to be very hot so think it will be strolling from shade to shade, and hopefully a shady spot for tea. Love to all, HFxx

Oh goodness it’s hot!
lovely photos all,
