Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
WhatHappened....awww....what a sad/sweet story!!you did so well..
...that was so funny...yes I found my new bellybutton was needng a clean and bought some cotton buds...so easy to forget...

May I ask - how long you have been on Letrozole?
Hi ...I have been on letrozole for about 20 months.I have settled with accord now ...but I had some horrid sie-effects with feelings of being overwhelmed etc on orther brands xx
Hi & Violetsniff
Thank you for the advice It wont matter to much if my eye brows thin as all through chemo I lost head hair and only lost half of eyebrows and now my hair came back darker brown and my eye lashes are just as thick as before and being dark haired and fair skinned I have an abundance of hair some more than I would like in the wrong place :)
I am getting ready for weekend away (sisters birthday) and cooking up a feast to take, home made quiche, carrot cake and victoria sponge once cooked I will be getting out for a walk as the sun is shining and it looks beautiful outside
after ready your posts (which always put a smile on my face) including the bacon buttys, kebabs and sausages etc I thought what an atrocious but really nice diet you have but then this morning I spotted the little word veg in your post so you have redeemed yourself big time, but with all the walking you do you should avoid the big bottom
Debs xx
I have just started knitting knockers so I must be a sweet lady!!!! xx

You’re allowed to scream - You’re allowed to cry - But do not give up
MAMMOGRAMS save lives, I'm the proof!!!
7 rounds of chemo, finished 30th May 2018. 15 zaps of radiotherapy, finished 26th July 2018.
I Survived .......... Sadly my hubby did not.
As a Mr Freddy Mercury once said
I sincerely hope so
Now walk to town for dentist. Well hygienist. I swear I may just deck her or drop the BC bomb if she decides to condescendingly tell me about cleaning my teeth.

Thank you - it will be interesting to see what the changed medication will be.
Hi all
It's a beautiful sunny day here in London and feels like spring. I am enjoying a much appreciated day off (oops - "working from home" hahaha) so did a run in the park (much slower pace but 20 minutes without stopping so my pb since surgery) What a difference the sunshine can make!
Here is a photo of a corner of a "secret garden" in the park - it is bursting into life now. The park is in between my home and the hospital so it was a little haven for me during treatment and recovery. This garden is looked after by a team of volunteers and is very tranquil!
Hope the sun is shining on you all!
