Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.

oops I completely forgot to post any photos of my walks - here's one from Anglesey on Boxing day - I really loved being by the sea! I didn't take the photo - I hijacked it from someone in the group because I love it - I am in it though, so think it's allowed!!
here's to lots of happy walks in 2019!!

Didn't take any pics today but went to Robin Hood's Bay. Walking down from the car park was fine. And managed to get on the beach before the tide came in. Then pub for lunch. Then had to face the long climb back up to car park. But made it. Last walk this evening going out for dinner and then home tomorrow. Will have to continue making the effort when I get home. Expecting operation date will be waiting when I get home. If not will phone consultants secretary to check.
Owww ladies, ladies, ladies, I love all these photographs - the only trouble is the beach views are making me so want to go away for a few days to the seaside, to see the beach - arrrgh, but, I have cats and dogs, plus work - so its just not that easy. I so want to go to the sea.
These photos are so inspirational 'Thank You' - love your photo ronstar - I think it is definately allowed with you in the photo too - very lucky. My late Uncle lived on Isle of Anglesey, such a beautiful place.
, Robin Hood's Bay sounds wonderful, where is this place? Please keep up the walking when you get home - I to must start again, I have given myself Christmas and New Year off (not intentionally, just wasn't motivated), so Monday it is, start again.....
Hey Leolady56 - I'm thinking we started this thread around a year ago now - if only I had kept up the walking from then, I bet I'd look a totally different person. Arrghhh well, no excuse now for me
Love to all xxxxx
