Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.

Thanks Flossie25
No discernible improvement in vision, but huge reduction in tiny black floaters and eye clinic doctor last week could see an improvement under examination. Thankfully am off the tablets but still on steroid drops, tapering off over 4 weeks then another appointment. Dilating drops also, twice a day. Seems to take up a lot of the day, haha!! But grateful that it seems to be going in the right direction. And sooo grateful that sight is still functional enough to get out walking, albeit with sunglasses even when raining! And can read with my old, stronger glasses. No idea when I’ll be able to drive again. But I have my bus pass and reasonable bus/ train services. Xx
Glad things are going in the right direction HappyFeet1 it always takes time. You must definitely be well occupied instilling your eye drops. Fingers crossed you continue to improve. Bus passes are a godsend. Although I can still drive I do like public transport. Back to face mask wearing too whilst there’s such a prevalence of viruses around. Reminds me I need to renew my bus pass. Good you’re still able to get out and about which will help immensely.

I've had a proper walk

today. My men went Christmas shopping so I decided to explore the road up from our rental cottage. The views as I walked were spectacular and it was steep. The houses at the top were mini mansions. If only my lottery numbers could come in.......
Happy Christmas fellow walkers ...
