Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Yet to get out walking today (workmen around). I think I should have gone out about 7am but it was so frosty here. Maybe tomorrow? I might do some hooping in the meantime.
Picture of the farmer at work yesterday.

Lovely Nordic walk yesterday, lots of animals…. Horses, goats, 2 pigs, all in nice fields with lots of space which is refreshing to see! No photos while walking as too tricky with the poles, but these violets were in the car park, love the colour. Love to all, HFxx
Did a few steps in Manchester at the beginning of the week.

A few walks this week, with friend and with Nordic walking group. Photos are…. Pretty flower arrangement in next town from walk along towpath; magnolia in flower locally. Xx
Good morning...
I walked early as OH has another ' follow up' heart rv this morning after a phone call from cardiologue yesterday.
Photo is sunrise through the mist. It will be dark again next week at this time once the clocks go forward.
I can't remember if I showed you the photos from our weekend away for our anniversary. Apologies if repeating.....I walked each morning and during the day but it was very wet on Saturday so no town photos just my morning river walk from hotel.
This was the night view from hotel with bridge floodlit.
Lovely photos from your special trip away Lacomtekp . And how great to get a bus to the sea, Flossie25 ! I will get my bus pass this summer but no seasides nearby unfortunately. But will be good for exploring local countryside.
Lovely walk earlier in the week, to next town and back. Coffee and toasted tea cake in the sunshine, felt like I was on holiday with the taverna next door to the cafe, playing Greek music! Love to all, HFxx
