Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
As One Mr Freddie Mercury once sand 'Don't stop me now I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball.'
Well done to the runners, riders, joggers, skippers and wobblers.
And big bags of elephant poop to the bleeping nasty man whose dog attacked. Like children they are as good or as bad as those that trained them.
Well only a few wobbly walks to the washing line and to grimace at the destruction - in my absence - Mr Leo is causing in the garden. OMG I will make him pay once I get out of the fog.
I am hoping that tomorrow I wake up to a headache free day - headaches are BP issues - so GP and then a wee walk.
Thank goodness for the snooker, I can snooze in and out of it at will.
moomy mmmm wine I think I used to enjoy that????? Still my liver is happy.

Sorry names are escaping me when replying xxxx
Life is like a boxing match, defeat is declared not when you fall ..... But when you refuse to stand up again ....... So, I get knocked down but I get up again. x
Hey Leolady56 - hope you wake with a clear head tomorrow!!
moomy - County shirt is the plan, but probably indoors at the end of the year. I'll go after an outdoors one next year, as it's too late to put in qualifying scores for this year (they are at 12 dozen arrows, which I've not done yet)
Twinkle51 - angry face at rubbish dog owner!! So glad you're both ok.
Right, now that I've cleaned up after himself in the kitchen, yet again, I guess I'd better go and get the tea.
xx

Wowwwwww toxophilite massive *!*!*!*!*!*!* Congratulations *!*!*!*!*!*! to you.
Very Well Done on your record - wow, wow, wow - we hope you are feeling very proud - yeeeeharrrr xx
Owww Leolady56 I hope you feel better soon and your headache eases off. What are these men like, you only have to leave them for 5 minutes and they try and destroy everything - mind you, I do have my own thoughts on this.... I think they do these things so that we don't ask them to do these jobs. One thing I like, is I like any bushes, etc to lie low to the ground, giving coverage for any wildlife. ( only have to turn my back and he's out with the shears cutting the bottom branches off saying 'anything could be hiding in there' = yes, thats why I like it this way arrrrggghhh.

Men and tools. We have a garage and 2 sheds full of lob it, chop it, hack it, saw it gadgets and gismos.Oh and my daughters 'stuff' that one day they will collect - but that's different isn't it!!!
Mr Leo reckons that I bring rats into the garden because I feed the bird. I only see one rat!!!!
I'm with you on the 'bleep' it up and we never ask them again.
Mini rant of the day. Phew not good for BP

Now my query is this,
You remember the old rhyme
‘If the oak be out before the ash
Then in summer we’ll have a splash
If the ash be out before the oak
Then in summer we’ll have a soak’
What happens if they both come out at around the same time, like in my photos?????
My walk was a mile again, in 23 minutes but I met a friend and had a good couple of minutes chat!
