Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Took the ferry today from Ardrossan to Brodick on Isle of Arran. Walked the coastal path for about 40 mins to the Castle and had lunch and a look around. Walked a lot. Hips, knees and hands swollen and hurt a lot but I'm trying to walk through the pain. Have my second year check up soon and at new hospital so will be asking g lots of questions. Hot tub will be nice later. Hugs to all xx
Fab photos all! Love Dexter on the beach Northerner and of course the horses. Saw a lovely palomino today and a grey horse with foal. No photos as was Nordic walking, too difficult with the poles.
How lovely to see heron’s nests with chicks seaspirit44 ! We had a fly past by a heron today but no idea where it was nesting.

They apparently were able to release some seals recently, it was on the local news, a family owned place and mini zoo really. Once I knew that I didn’t worry about paying an entrance fee!

She looked lovely. With that beautiful veil, she could have been royalty. No wonder she needed an impressive venue......and you are obviously enjoying your week. Strangely I took a series of DCI Ryan away as my light holiday reading .....all set in and around Newcastle, Durham and the Northumberland countryside.
the great hall ..waiting for bride
