Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
A couple of field photos from yesterday’s walk…. weather was perfect

Beautiful azure skies again, and. Rhea!Interesting….Well I went to see my great nephew and neice yesterday ,and brother etc.It was the first time I had seen the children since before Christmas.I had clean clothes on and mask indoors and had a negative test the day before, and wasn’t going to hug the children but their Daddy said I could!!I am still not sure whether it is ok?anyway I felt there was very little risk, and so we had hugs!!!(only the children)…it was marvellous!!the first hug went right through my body and warmed it up!first one for over a year!!
they are altering and bigger, but my g-neph still has his freckles thank goodness!!
saw my brother who has had a neuroma removed from his ear in the last few weeks. He was very weak at first but is getting stronger.I pretended to kiss his scar but of course…I didn’t.
Gosh what an awful 2 years he has had !But still standing !!
they have the most beautiful higgledy piggledy old country garden….xx
