Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Lovely photos everyone and a warm welcome to Figgy2019, look forward to hearing about your walks. Got back from lovely Scottish trip, thought I’d miss the cool breeze but have been pleasantly surprised by the weather as we too have a breeze most of the time! Dog walk yesterday as well as shady walk with bestie friend in the afternoon. A few photos from woods and marshes (which are not at all marshy atm!)....Love to all, HFxx

It's not a walk but I cut the grass in my garden yesterday and I couldn't move for 4 hours, well apart from brewing up xxx

This mornings stroll with Dexter and Billy
managed 4500 steps with poorly knee just slapped ibuprofen on

We did our walk early today as forecast is 37° after lunch and as you can see....very open and uphill on way out.

Am still bit undure but anyway..here’s the puc again …

Fab photos everyone! Walking is a challenge in this heat so well done to anyone who’s ventured out. Have mainly walked the dog wherever I can find shade, no long treks. Visited lovely in laws yesterday so a few photos from their garden….Love to all, HFxx

Lovely floral pics everyone, aren’t the colours amazing at the moment. We went to visit my mother in law this weekend, I went for a walk in the park on Saturday which was lovely. Have a good day!
