Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
!!
lovely pics everyone, and the little lambkins trotting along must be the pic of the week for me,Santababy!!
I still think we could make a calender to raise funds for Macmillan with our gorgeous photos.I don’t mind being part of a team to choose, but I couldn’t instigate it !not brave enough!
Anyone want to volunteer ?
Today I've walked around one of the Charente's jewel villages after meeting friend for coffee. I must confess we tackled the steep streets slowly.....our excuse the two year old member of the group. She stepped it out and did the whole circuit on foot. So here are the tour pictures....

( sorry the prettiest ones I can't post because they have people in and I would never put someone else's child online. I'll go another day and retake the subterranian church and old houses!)
What gorgeous pictures!
and @Lacomptekp,I feel the same about putting other people’s children on,and never do unless I ask their mother, only ever done once or twice. But if you can edit the photo you can make sure the pretty background is seen and keep the children out,by making it a different size, for instance xx
the eveing sun on the trees last night,xx
Beautiful photos both Santababy sunrise and Violetsniffat sunset.
Today I've been doing moomy's walk....up and down the grass. Please can the warm weather last long enough to stop the grass growing so fast? We have meadow grass so it has to be cut in the areas we regularly walk.
