Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Sorting photos this one popped up Grandaughter Eleanor's final piece at Art college she was 18
She printed hand drawn Teddies and facts about them on to plain cotton to make material then made her pattern .
Big Ted was the end result
It earned her front and centre at the annual show .
tagging you as you like teddies
Such a talented girl Northerner, and love the teddies theme. i think LondonLass would love that photo too as I’m sure I remember that she is a teddy collector!

Love that teddy! Had a very wet walk on Friday with my friend and saw a large herd of deer
Gorgeous views, swans and deers. Didn’t get out on a walk yesterday as looking after my grandson but he still kept me moving and it was too hot to go on a proper walk, so today I’m catching up on all my jobs luckily it’s much cooler so better for ironing.

Have a lovely Sunday all, I’m meeting a group of ex colleagues tomorrow for a walk so will hopefully get some photos xx
Oh he was Northerner he wanted to get it as high as he could to knock it down to lots of squeals of laughter
Well we walked 8000 steps around the brocante but spoilt the exercise with a brasserie meal!
But I did buy a very nice ottoman to put my knitting in and use the top as a coffee table.........Top just needs a bit of decoupage to cover tge odd water stain but inside is immaculate.
