Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Snow boots look just the job Violetsniff! And like the unusual door. The fox on wall is a fab photo ronstar. I haven’t seen a fox for ages. However today my thrill was seeing an owl at dusk! Beautiful, I was out on a country walk with a friend, neither of us have much of a sense of direction so we often walk further than intended. Anyway, passing through a lovely country estate we saw the owl, and then a heron flew over us. So elegant! Too quick for photos though.
Today’s photos are ducks on frozen pond, snowy fields, shaggy sheep and the moon through branches. Was a lovely walk back over the heath, didn’t realise how dark it was until we got to the last little woods! Best walk of this year I think. Love to all, HFxx

Great pics HappyFeet1 .. you do some great walks. Liked the fox ronstar and great boots Violetsniff. I need to get out today. Pic off the other day.

I do tend to walk the same places.... I've done some exercise this morning.. hoop and hiit xx

I do think we should do a Callender for maccy but I don’t have the courage!
the ducks are so great too.
well I might stay in today as freeeezing cold-I am even cold indoors but am wrapped up-
am reading” The Thursday Murder Club” online. It is everso good.
Be careful out there I have already heard of people falling..
Morning all, just back from my walk and just in time as rain just started. Bitterly cold but luckily all snow and ice has mostly gone.
Still plenty to be seen on the welsh hills in the distance

and saw this amazing vehicle on someone’s driveway

don’t know why everything is on its side today
keep warm and safe but have a great day xx
Not mine moomy, I can’t drive so god knows the havoc I would reek on that , just found it on my walk this morning.
Never realised how many people own boats and caravans/campers either, with everyone stranded at home you see them on nearly every other driveway, some magnificent ones out there x
Lovely photos everyone! We still have snow but it’s gradually going as the day gets wetter. Walked the dog round country estate and heaths, grey day but good to be out. I hardly saw a soul which was an added bonus these days! Love to all, HFxx

Silly sign..... find who online?? No company name!!

Favourite shaggy cow....

Liked the patterns

Slowly thawing landscape
Santababywhat an interesting vehicle you have spied!
I think we could play I Spy and suggest something to submit a pic of if we see it .These little games make walking interesting...but not sure many would be up for it.
Interesting patterns in the icy mud,HappyFeet1,and that sign is so funny!!
well I have had a day of tying up some lose ends which is always satisfying.2 people got in touch who I had been worried about and I was welcomed officially into the Book Club!!They have interesting books, not just tomes which are deep and meaningful.(although they are important too...just hard for me to digest sometimesj
I was feeling suitably guilty for not going out for exercise today...so found my little rubber ball and was throwing it up indoors (safely)for a while. It definately helps those abs.
Am on a diet.(Not HappyBunny)xx
