Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
....well done on 7000steps!,and I agree,it does make you feel good to blow the cobwebs away.Lovely lovely blue sky.
I am sorry,Happy Walkers, but I didn’t really mean what tree was it...although Thankyou moomyfor helping with that...it was the little crappie on the pebble at the bottom of the tree!!
It just looked inappropriate and I wondered what it was.Is there a fad of planting pebbles agin?Anyway...he was lovely xx
I’ve managed my half hour exercise today, so I don’t feel guilty any more!
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Hi all, walked today with a friend I hadn’t seen since before Christmas. Longer walk than planned as it was such a lovely day here, nearly 7 miles in all. Lots of bulbs coming up in the woods, in a week there should be carpets of snowdrops I hope! Trees, heath and sun rimmed clouds on photos today:

Wow HappyFeet1 7 miles!!!!! Bet that blew the cobwebs away, gorgeous photos, when those bulbs bloom it will be spectacular
Great you got your half hour done moomy I’ve walked today but not nearly as far as you HappyFeet1 ...7 miles .. wow. I tried Oti Mabuse learn to dance yesterday. Think I need something less energetic than a jive. I can see why learning to dance is great for weight loss.
Xx

Morning all, well it’s freezing and very slippy under foot out there today so just a quick walk with the pooch, she just wanted to do the necessary and get back home
and I didn’t argue, I have some ice chains that fit over my boots and I needed them today so stayed upright but still wasn’t too upset to get home. If it brightens later hopefully will venture out further later.
Keep warm and safe all xx
We have snow!! A warning with the sunrise....the white is frost....

Then snow started later in the morning and hasn’t yet stopped!

Think it will be snowman worthy soon. Love snow but do feel sorry for anyone who has to go anywhere. And just saw on news that several vaccine centres in Wales have had to shut due to heavy snow, so clearly it’s bad there. Dog walk after I’ve made soup.... xx
Heavy frost overnight then Glorious sunny but very cold day here HappyFeet1 just back from doggie walk . I've explained to D that it's not as warm as it looks but he wants to sunbathe in garden. I suppose wearing a thick fur coat helps

Made carrot ,leek and potato soup yesterday so some of that for lunch with pasta quiche .
