Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
ahhhhhhh...this is from my break away...(sorry...lil cheat...!)I heard last night on TV that the name of the snowdrop (in Latin,I think)means “milk flower of the snow”cooooooool....want to find out what other flower names mean ,now...xx off to do a little study......
Ladies, I've done it, I went out for my 20 minutes :) walk (10 there and 10 back). I will try soon to increase this - just don't want to push myself to much that I'll overdo it and stop hahaha
There was a few other walkers about today, so grabbed a quick picture of them, should be attached below :)

Good work again today ladies,
lm working out I seem to have a good day then a bad day. Walked miles yesterday but today just about managed a 5 min walk back from lunch with my parents.
WhatHappened love the geese. We came a cross two types of geese sat in a field the other day. They were very much keeping themselves to themselves. No intermingling between breeds allowed it would seem in the geese world!!
Violetsniff our builders have successfully managed to kill all emerging flowers, shame but can't fault them otherwise

Hi WhatHappened
Well done, did you fall inline and do a goose step:)
I was told by physio to start gently and do what your comfortable doing and you will keep it up, if you go mad then you will cause pain and not want to do it again, A friend said you have to do something 21 times before you enjoy it, It did take me 20 odd times to start enjoying it and then I started to increase the distance. but chocolate and cake I only tried once and loved it :)
Debs xx
_ - I'll see you the geese, and raise you some llamas! Gobsmacked seeing these on my walk today in the local castle estate. Had to definitely keep Poppy on the lead, much to her disgust! Was a bit slack in my walking over the weekend but trying to get back into it. OH was off today and it's half-term so I could get out while he kid-sat. Oh, there was more snow here today, wasn't expecting that. L xx
Patience and faith
You need to use the new editor to get emojis. Yeah, I know, go figure!! Apparently they are working on combining them......
