Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Well done HappyFeet1 I haven’t been to the gym for years but did contemplate going back. Instead I tried hiit, Pilates & a resistance band but I’m not very consistent.Keep thinking about getting another exercise bike. I really do need to do more.

Love that tree moomy ! I never thought I’d join a gym Flossie25 but mine is small and friendly, and I was introduced to it by the lovely instructor who runs my Friday exercise class for anyone who’s had cancer.
Wonderful Nordic walk this morning in Knebworth Park and beyond. So cold but had lots of layers. Beautiful sunshine helped! Photos shared from the group, I can’t take them with gloves and poles!

Great pics HappyFeet1 Exercise class sounds ideal if for people who’ve had cancer. I’ve not tried Nordic Walking and there aren’t any groups near me.
Knebworth for me equals Led Zeppelin 1979 I think. x

Today's walk went uphill again but in the other direction from our rented house. You can see the house ....white bungalow.....in the bottom corner of one of the pictures as we walked back. The views were stunning. We could see a long way.
Last night's sunset was unusual. My grandmother would have called it a ' mackerel sky' but so far today....we've only had the dry!
Take care on your frosty walks everyone.....no falls....
Still very cold here no thaw yet! High of 2 this afternoon, have left washing out as it froze overnight, then partially thawed but it’s not dried at all. Better luck tomorrow I think!
Just a quick dog walk, photo is from the back of the garden. Sunshine was lovely yesterday but no sign of it today. Xx

It has totally thawed here. Visited a few shops today and main walk was through little shopping centre. Picked up a free pack of grapes from M&S and essentials. Couldn’t resist getting chocolate eclairs and have had one as a treat as I’ve done well this past week not eating biscuits and cutting cake down to one madeleine and chocolate to a square of dark 85% chocolate.
