Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Only a short dog walk for me today. But a trip to next town clocked up a few steps to get to John Lewis! But the obligatory coffee and scone probably cancelled those steps out. Too bad! This coming week I will get back to Nordic walking and my Friday exercise class so a bit more movement! xxx

The rain was very heavy yesterday and there was thunder in the night crashing overhead with strong winds but this morning.....
What a surprise....So I walked....not on the usual track but the nearby road. Again it was pretty if a little more dangerous with occasional vehicles heading to work.
Lovely walking weather Lacomtekp Yes, take care on the roads.
I’ve walked through hospital and shops today. Did mean to go out when back home but needed food then hubby stuck on phone, still is, trying to get through to HMRC.
4pm and still light

Jealous you’ve got washing out moomy I’m waiting for the weekend as hoping it will be balmy. Did Wii Tennis then out for a walk. Quite pleasant.
Wood in the middle of the village but there’s no path through it (that I’m aware of).

I’ve had washing out today too moomy ! I actually put it out yesterday evening as it was looking like a decent dry day for today. So it pretty much froze to the line overnight, then got the full benefit of the lovely sunshine today! Soft and at least on the way to being dry when brought in early afternoon.
Trip to St Albans with friend this morning, lovely walk through Verulanium Park and by the cathedral. Quick photo of dancing trees. Xxx

Only been out to the bin today so will have to do some exercise and make up for the lack of a dedicated walk.
