Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Great to see everyone ls holiday pics. I love the Lake District. We are in Warmwell in Dorset, in a Lodge, it's so quiet in a woodland setting. I've Been roller skating the last 2 days. Did it as airl, much harder after all these years with a few injuries due to wear and tear. Still young atvheart, at times mes.

Great photos folks! Glad you’ve been back out and about Northerner after your horrible Covid experience. And I’m in awe of your roller skating Sabrina22 , I wouldn’t dare! Used to ice skate but am too nervous of falling now.
Lovely visit to Hatfield House gardens and grounds with a friend. Perfect weather and a couple of cafe visits. Love to all, HFxx

Been to a friends open garden event today in aid of Red Cross my sort of garden lots of shade and in no way would it be called formal

Oww Margaret what a wonderful garden, such lovely photographs. Your friend has worked so hard on this and it definitely shows - beautiful xxx
(I've just posted that I hadn't seen you posting hahaha - I found you here in this beautiful garden.
Sending loads of love to you xxx
Lovely garden Northerner and I’m with you on the roller skating Flossie25 ! Although that path looks like a good one for roller skating…..
Had a lovely river walk with a friend yesterday, passed this cute family with an uplifting message in the background if you can spot it. Love to all, HFxx

I’m of the same opinion, HappyFeet1 and Flossie25 , I managed to ice skate a bit years ago but would never willingly look at roller skates, let alone use them!
Great photos all, I keep forgetting to take any when I’m out! Oh and probably won’t do much in the way of Nordic style walking now I know what a mess my shoulder joints are in!
Hugs xxx
