So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?

    @JammyR

An addition for the Bingo game:

How many hot flushes wake you up?

Been one of those nights and I was not even in bleeping pain

Have a great appointment free day

Probably about 20 last night for me Leolady! I seem to spend most of the night covering and uncovering bits of me - it's a right pain in the backside! I used to love my bed, now the hours seem to pass really slowly.

I do have a cooling gel pad in the bed to put my feet/legs on though (as I have burny feet - not sure that's a medical term, but it suits...) and that helps a bit...

Happy appointmentless day to everyone, although some people may be having scans etc today I suppose - best wishes to all those as well!

This next post may be seen as smutty but it continues the not bleeping pregnancy thread

Hubby is in bedroom fixing a wardrobe - only 3 months waiting

Me’ That’s the only screwing going to be happening in here darling !’

We had a big giggle and both in tears

  • Hi ladies.

Ali thanks for your kind words. I think I was panicking about the hair loss and the woman there was just so disinterested it made me feel like I was an alien. It all seemed too much trouble for her and to top it I had to pay £30 for the insulation anyway.

I’ve moved on now and will take a look to see if there’s anywhere more suitable to go hopefully with a better outcome.

I keep reading about the hot flushes on here. I am post menopausal but have not suffered over the past 8 years, maybe my body is good at producing oestrogen and progesterone still hence my ER+ tumour. Actually hope my good fortune continues once I’m on the AI’s.

Fantastic to see you are already back on here LL. I think you may just be seeing the main man in a couple of weeks time.

I’m happy to give you the Jackpot prize for the whole 3 ops, Monday’s appointment, no pregnancy weeing, and that many attempts for the canular is giving me the shivers.

As to pictures on here ladies, is it to do with the fact that I’m using the new editor?? I clicked on all of the boxes at the top of this post and nothing helped. I find it easier than the old editor as I’m on an iPad. Also am I being a total idiot, because if I switch back it says I will lose any content, does that just mean on the post I’m writing??

Maybe I will try it and see what happens.

Forgot where I was for a mo, thought I was back at work talking to the IT hotline.

This needs to be said in a Rex Harrison style voice from My Fair Lady 'I think she's got it, by George she's got it'

I loved the whole IT guy thing. Eventually they would remotely control my computer at work with me saying, 'OMG this is amazing. How did you just do that. You are so clever.' They fell for it every time bless 'em

  • Oh my oh my yes ‘I got it’ by George I have.

I used to do exactly the same, my opening line would be ‘apologies but I’m really rubbish at all of this so be gentle with me’ :-D

Like you they used to just take over and I’d be giving the ‘wow how clever comments’, definitely worked every time.

I was my own IT hotline specialist today and I gave the chat but it fell on deaf ears. Moved to old editor worked it out and then came back on the new editor, do I win a bingo line at least??? Xxxxx

Definitely a full line if not a full house.

Ladies I am just adding this if I can. As some of you may know I indulge ever day in meditation and boy did I use it yesterday.

Through that I have found an amazing pianist Steven Cravis. My favourite is Healing Piano. When it all gets too too much I listen to it. Soothes the savage beast.

Hope this link works - no IT guy was harmed in this production. It is short but there is a 45 min. version

This second one is Falling Leaves

And my happiest find on Youtube was Brooklyn Duet they are a go to when life gets too much

Sorry if this feels indulgent but I care and share

You'll all be glad when the anaesthetic has left my system.
