So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?
  • Congratulations  and  on getting to the end of chemo, your superstars!!

Woo hoo all done, hope the SE are kind this time.

Well got a call from radiotherapy and went in this afternoon for planning and ct.  They have given me 7th June start date but are going to try to get it bought forward to next Thursday 31st may.  They are going to call me.  But anyway whoever said when they cock up they do try to get things organised before a complaint goes in was right.

  • Really good news on here    .......  Congrats  and

I just realised that this time next week I’ll be day 1 after re excision... be pleased to get that out of the way and hope I don’t have to wait nearly 5 weeks again for results .... is that a record  :

I recall someone posting somewhere about not remembering their birthday when asked.... I often don’t recall my age but not sure if that’s deliberate or whether I don’t think it’s important !!! Anyway I often have CRAFT moments

    weathers still murky here

    xx

  • Thank you all for your good wishes and fireworks!

glad they are getting RT sorted. It was me that said it and I am sure its true..as soon as they sense a complaint or risk missing a target it focuses their minds!

wow that was a long wait..3 weeks was long enough for me. Good luck with the op and let us know how you get on.

    xxx

    I am whispering

    Are we all ok

Or have the crappy SE's attacked our lovely Janey and Joanne.

    Hoping not

Apparently a storm raged through our little village at 1.00 am this morning. Mmmmmmm missed that. I was tired and emotional. Or slightly squiffy. It was Mr L's curry celebration

I have climbed the mountain of ironing (yes again) I have gardened for 2 hrs (yesterday). I took a wee walk with Mr L for another glass of pop. I know I shouldn't have

    And guess what????

    Dare you to guess??

I have a ................... rash!!!! My bald slightly fuzzy head is now decorated with pimples. Started on Thursday and has gone silly. I mean really, what is it with me.Lucky i have plethora of unctions and creams from previous rashes. I am sooooooo blaming the wig.

Hope to see all is well in your worlds pdq. As I scratch away at my new rash

BC the gift that keeps on giving

  • You’re a very sensitive lady   .... blaming the wig seems the right thing to do.... hope it settles soon xx
