So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?
  • Oh my  !!  I have followed your journey from the start, indeed this thread was one of the things that motivated me to join this site and Macmillan in January after I was diagnosed. A gentle virtual hug from me too xxx

  • Oh my word, LeoLady! Hope the poop has eased to allow you to sleep!

Sending lots of gentle hugs xxx

Wow, enough with this BC Poo, that's it now I have decided you are going to have a better time of it until it's finished now.  Stay strong lovely lady.

Wishing you a very speedy recovery.  Big gentle hugs.

Fatigue is difficult I know, but it gets a little better everyday. Hair will come when it's ready.

I hear you with the stair climbing, it will get a little bit better everyday.

Hope your cold has finally gone and you can start to relax a little bit.

Glad you have sorted the mammogram so quickly, at least that will take away a little bit of worry for you both.

I am still waiting for my RT appointment. I have seen my Onco and signed the paperwork two weeks ago. I called the BCN and asked her, she said give it another week.

Started the Dreaded Tamoxifen on 1st May, wow I ache all over, I have puffy ankles and a itchy red rash on my face.  Called BCN who spoke to onco, she said it's nothing to do with Tamoxifen.  Ha ha what a joke, of course it is you silly people, all the side effects I have are known with Tamoxifen.  I even asked the nurse on here, and she agreed it's probably Tamoxifen.  On doing some research on here I am going to try a different brand of tamoxifen next month as been told it may help.

Hope everyone who I did not name is well and appointment free.

    Hi Lovelies

Thank you. It is so easy to do the poop of BC because I can come on here, have a moan and a cry, get hugs from you lots and put is all into perspective as so many others are getting madness thrown at them.

Last chemo has decided to throw me into sickness but the tabs are working.

    Here goes....... Zippy scarf

Friends and family have been rude and complimentary, they know me so well. Going to get the fringe done a bit better and the sides so looks more natural

get that new Tamoxifen sooner, no need to put up with that crappity crap crap. Bad enough the other crap we have all done but not more needed. Hair looking fine better than my stubble. I weirdly go to brush my stubble.

hope the world is being gentle with you and poop is at a low level.

hi and welcome. All the very best for monday to you

hope you have found some way to get the much needed rest. Naps it might have to be to recharge your batteries

formal complaint the best way to go. Though they will probably join my old onco on the naughty step reading instead of playing on the playground. GRRRRRRR

yup we all do definitely need to be kind to ourselves. You've experienced enough poop without adding any more, go gently that is an order. Is it today Libby is out for the day - then pamper yourself!!!!

hope you got some sort of rest too. I am still getting the flushes too but less since the chemo. Soooooo guess they will be back

Well sorry I have not mentioned everyone but the headaches are kicking in so i must away to my boudoir and rest. Though sat on my arse in the lounge is not too demanding

Hope Zippy made you smile. He makes me . NOW promise not to tell????? They are thinking of coming back for next year whilst their house is being built in France and I think to adopt another child. WOOOOO HOOOOOO. Double whammy lots of Zippy hugs and a new one to hug. Don't tell a soul ladies. We are the only ones who know. SHHHHHHHHHHHH xxxxx

Today I got my invite for Breast Screening. MMMMMM made me giggle. Should I go and waster their time???No as some poor woman is out there waiting. Instead I will phone and hope that one day someone will learn to join the dots.

    Need COFFEE and dry toast.

What aload of shite. I feel for you luv I reallyreally do. Now I would be seriously pissed off, caused havoc. However thats not going to change whats happened.

Get a letter in about all the  idiotic practice you have had to put up with,  after your first episode your reactions to chemo should have been looked at more thouroughy. It's unacceptable. They are suppose to forsee these things. Your not the first this has happened to,  hopfully it will not happen to sum other poor lady.

IT'S NOT OK..!!!!!!!! GET THEM SORTED. !!!!!!!!!

Good news on more grand children, children truly are a blessing. Xx

     - I went to my last routine mammogram - it was the same day as an oncology appointment (but at a different hospital!) The oncologist told me that in the scheme of things, I didn't have to go...

Anyway, I went and got the letter a couple of weeks later giving me the glad tidings that my remaining breast was clear! Hurrah!!! Shame about the rest of me...

Hi Lindsay   what a load of shit that is hope you are managing to get some rest now :-(

Do you know what caused your blood pressure to go up? Was it a reaction to the Chemotherapy ?

Sleep : Ha Ha I got to sleep at 5:00 am and that is on Melatonin !

Nice to know you are still looking in and keeping a good eye on us. Do you know i am none too sure why we didn't stop. But 25% of the magic medicine may have been a help???? My onco is so nice I'd hate to upset him. Weeblemum would agree

Actually good point about the other boob! But ..... my sister suggested I went. Told them I was Mystic Meg and reeled off the pathology. Naughty girl that she is

Chemotherapy  set off the BP!!! Had a lovely 2 hr chemo nap. Now up to 7.5mg of ramipril. I can go to 10mg. Of course herceptin can be a bit aggressive with heart and BP too. But today I am languishing in 121/67, not been that low in ages.
